Wrexham born and Glasgow based singer-songwriter Chris Rogers has been touting his wares around the Scottish folk club scene for around 10 years now with, as he says, varying degrees of success. The best moments in his view have been winning songwriting competitions in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Falkirk supporting Marting Stephenson at East Kilbride Arts Centre and having a commerical release on a Greentrax compilation, Gentle Giants. If he had to choose among his many influences, the one he would name is Tom Waits.
